Shooting a wedding at Syrencot has been on my bucket list for some time now! Back in February I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Isla and Lewis' wedding there. And let me tell you it did not disappoint!
Wedding at Syrencot
The gorgeous Syrencot wedding venue has a gorgeous house for the couple and their friends/family to get ready in. At the start of the day Isla and her bridesmaids got ready together, Isla was the most chilled out bride and even had a nap whilst the girls had their makeup done!
Then whilst the girls were having their hair and makeup done, Lewis was down the corridor getting ready with his groomsmen. As Lewis was just round the corner I was able to snap away some photos of him getting ready! It's rare that I get to capture both partners getting ready but I always love it when I do.
Vibrant Ceremony at Syrencot
The ceremony was truly stunning! They tied the knot in the glasshouse at Syrencot and the lighting was just perfect. One of my favourite parts of their ceremony was watching the reactions of all their friends and family as they officially became newly weds!
We then headed outside for an epic confetti shot! The colours of the petals really added to the vibrant look! The pure love and joy was just radiating off of everyone.
Couple's Portraits
Once Isla and Lewis had said hello to everyone and the group photos were out the way, it was time for us to sneak away and take some cute portraits. Syrencot's grounds are absolutely breathtaking and there are so many hidden gem spots to be found. So we went for a little adventure and explored the grounds. We even timed it perfectly as just as we finished taking photos the dreaded rain started!
Dance Party Vibes
After the portraits it was now time for the reception to kick off! The speeches were first followed by one of the fanciest meals I have had! Then it was onto the party and my oh my these lot knew how to party. The dance floor was popping all night and everyone was just having the best time. I even got on the dance floor a couple of times as I couldn't resist!
Isla and Lewis' wedding was the best way to kick off 2024! I cannot wait for more weddings at Syrencot, definitely a favourite venue of mine.
